Im Westen Nichts Neues.
Had a good week.
Lots of work to be done, for sure, as my two “bosses” are going on a trip to Nepal in a few weeks and I have been asked to take over some tasks for them, but I was on track this week and so got lots of energy out of it all.
To cap it all off, I spent yesterday painting the apartment two of my friends are going to be living in, and it was fun. It feels good to help two people you love built the place they are going to be living in for the next few years. It’s a very nice spot they have gotten, and I am very happy for them. They won’t be living far from my place, so that’s wonderful, too.
I’ve also finally gotten news concerning my debts and am going to discuss the next step in the process tomorrow. If all goes well, we can settle this all out of court, which would be great. If not, still, no biggie, but it will put some more constraints on me. We’ll see, I’m just happy we’re moving to the next phase now, which will mean that hopefully in three years time I can say I am debt free. Seeing how quickly time seems to fly at the moment, three years isn’t much.
I’m feeling more relaxed on the whole. I’m living less in the future at the moment and just enjoying things. Basically that just involves reading and working and that suits me right to the ground. I sleep like a baby, too!
