Back to Work
I’m so glad to be back at work, and from now on for four full days a week!
When I started out in April last year, I could barely manage two and a half days, so there has definitely been progress.
Work has started out slowly, which is nice. So far just a few orders have come in, and I have mainly been busy getting the workshop ready for the seamstresses to move over. I’ve also been working on the computers, which is always nice, as I get to really do my hobby and still be at work.
We have some new people working with us as work-study volunteers and it’s great to have an eager team that is both not afraid of working and committed to using work as a method to get to grips with the Dharma. The days are alive with a buzz of activity that is inspiring in itself. I’m happy. That’s the beginning and end of it.
Here’s some pics of the workplace as it is now.
Oh, and shameless plug: if you are in Amsterdam on Saturday the 9th of January, maybe you can drop by, because we are having an Open House day.
Details can be found here.
There are classes in Kum Nye and meditation that you can try, and you can see the Center in action. Plus, you can see me!
Look for this badass person protecting his stocks of buckwheat husks!
I wish you all a very good day!
